Hi, I’m Kathleen! I am a digital content creator, social media manager, and blogger. To put it simply; a digital nomad.
I strongly believe in creating a life you love and spreading positivity and kindness.
My approach to the content I create comes from life experience. At a very young age I loved to write stories and aspired to become a writer or an English teacher. At 14 I was diagnosed with chronic depression and anxiety. When I seen no point to life, support, self-awareness, and an altered mindset profoundly changed and improved my experience of life. It enabled me to escaped years of darkness and suicidal ideation. This happened because I took control of my life.
Now, by leveraging the power of social media and writing, I want to make it easy for you to discover the importance of personal growth, mindset, self-care, and mental wellness; you know, the things that lead to us truly loving ourselves.
That is why in a space that’s so overwhelming, I’m passionate about creating a little area where healing the mind, body, and soul, is at the heart. A platform where I can share with you what I have learnt over the years in the most honest, transparent, and vulnerable way – it’s time I get super personal with you.
I hope to be able to show you how to find lasting happiness through eliminating discontent, growing as an individual, and cultivating life-changing habits mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
I would love nothing more than for you to take this journey with me and discover how you can grow through what you go through and become the conscious creator of your life.
What’s the story behind the 5 in ‘KA5THLEEN’?
Well, I’ve been a big fan of Vanessa Hudgens for as long as I can remember and back in 2009 when the movie Bandslam came out, she played the character Sa5m – “the five, is silent”. I used to think it was so unique, yet cool. Soon after, I somewhat adopted the concept across social media and @KoolKat17 became @KA5THLEEN. Little did I know after five years of what only started as a username, would be the start of something new, something much bigger.
